I like that you've hit on compassion as the thing that's going to change/save/sustain the world. I keep telling people who ask my opinion what the country needs -- "The greedy people to be more fair." "Us to be patient and continue to be kind." "EVeryone to chill." On the last one, I am reminded of a scene from a BAtman show. Batman, robin and batgirl are tied in the "Bohemian, Vipor Scorpion" rope tie. If anyone moves a muscle, they will all be strangled. BAtman says, "Everyone, just relax." So everyone chills. No fear. Abhaya. He wiggles his left ear, and the whole rope tie comes undone. Okay, that was a sub-non sequitur.
